Sonoran Trails Middle Schoolers in Cave Creek Unified getting high on Triple-C

Sonoran Trails Middle schoolers getting high on Triple-C...

Middle school students caught taking too much cold medicine

For those not hip to Triple-C...

Triple C", sometimes also known on the street as "skittles" (due to the fact that they typically come in the form of a small red pill, similiar in appearance to the candy), comes from "Coriciden Cold and Cough", an over-the-counter cough medicine containing the drug Dextromethorphan. (Sometimes referred to as DXM)

The pills have become increasingly popular as a recreational drug due to it's legality and the high which can be obtained by taking excessive dosages (typically 8 to 16 pills, although some users take even more). Exceeding the recommended dosage (usually 1 or 2 pills) will often cause nausea, and can occasionally result in very serious injury (such as liver damage) or death.

  1. I want to know why you haven't posted about the hanky panky going on at DAMS. Rumor is they are having some more of the issues they had 2 years ago with boys and girls in the library/restroom.
I heard that they had to have police called on Friday about a boy and girl in one of the restrooms.

Then today I heard on the radio about some girl from the High School having a wild party at her house with beer, pills, bongs and hookahs.

  2. It's funny how the information on this blog is so critical...like things like this only happen at Sonoran Trails. Just wait til the latest from DAMS gets out there. They're back to their old tricks - or "turning tricks" I hear.
