This is great news for some of us, and it's great to see how a real district actually handles situations like these. So much more professional than we're used to seeing with CCUSD.
I have students in district and out of the district and I have to say it is an eyeopener to see how other districts operate. The other districts propose potential changes, survey those impacted, gather data and make informed decisions. Cave Creek on the other hand surveys only those who support their agenda, disregards those who oppose and forces families to make decisions for an education outside the district...
Deb Burdick is the worst superintendent this district has ever had...under her direction test scores have fallen, programs have been lost, local enrollment is vanishing and administrative spending is up. Deb Burdick did not do this alone, we can also thank our lack luster, incompetent, school board for their pathetic act of community service.
It is time to start thinking of what we as a community want this district to accomplish and start looking for school board candidates who will represent our community goals
If you approve of the job Deb Burdick is doing... I encourage you to do the same.
Well it looks like the district is again focusing on the pockets of the taxpayers...www.learnyes.org (Paid for by LearnYES.org supporting Cave Creek USD Override)
Couldn't learn much there though...still wondering exactly what CCUSD needs more money for now?
Requests for paper, kleenex, hand sanitizer,... the list goes on and the requests come frequently.
Who paid for the letters sent by the middle school principal asking for donations to Learn YES? Was it the paper you sent for you child's classroom and teacher that he used to send these requests for support to Learn YES?
For our part, no more paper, no more kleenex, nor more money....unless it is in our child's backpack or directly into the hands of a deserving teacher.

ReplyDeleteExactly what I was thinking 4:30pm. Too bad it continues to be the way ccusd operates.

So much trolling. So little actual action where it might do any good (i.e. in front of the board). Yawn!!!
