Cave Creek Unified Spending. How Much is Enough?

• Where are these millions that supposedly have been cut from the budget? Where are those supposed cuts to teachers salaries?
• For those complaining about classroom sizes, go ask the board and the superintendent why $2.7 million of M&O was left unspent in 2009 and 2010.  How many teachers would that have funded? (If this was ARRA money why weren’t more teachers hired like this person suggested?)

• For those complaining about no money for curriculum, go ask the superintendent how much those new copiers and electronic message boards cost.
• All of these six year dollar increases have outpaced inflation which was 17.1% from July of 2003 to July of 2009

Have no fear though district supporters, CCUSD Watch will be urging a yes vote on the override.  Tune in tomorrow.
