We have continued to monitor this situation since then, because we know that BMES could find its way back in the cross-hairs, as evidenced at the recent March 9 Public Hearing, where once again we saw a slide presentation comparing the cost savings associated with closing BMES versus closing DAMS versus closing Desert Sun Elementary School.
So despite being told to back off, it seems like the BMESPTO feels threatened and is coming our swinging. Read their entire update here.

Don't judge what DAMS parents are actually DOING about the closure threat by their facebook comments!
