    President Reese, Member Johnson, you will be missed. Thank you for your time and consistent support of the District, the superintendent, administration, staff and community. I am sorry to see you leave. I hope that the new board member(s) (and the ones that remain) will follow your footsteps, read your resignation letters and take your words to heart. They truly reflect what a Governing Board should be. Again, thank you for your tireless efforts at making CCUSD the excelling district that it is and will continue to be.

    I believe you both fought valiantly to support those in the district who deserved support and I am sad to see you go. Member Johnson, I am embarrassed that you (and the other Christopher Verde members) were treated the way you were and had to sit through the disfunction caused, primarily, INHO by the remaining CC board members.

    I too hope that those to whom your comments (and Dr. Ashby's and Sid Bailey's) were made will recognize themselves in those comments and begin to re-evaluate their effectiveness or, even better, take some responsibility for the havoc they have reaped.

    After attending several Board meetings this year, I am very disappointed to see President Reese leaving. She seems to be one of only a couple leveled headed board members. It truly now will be embarrassing to the remaining members that are evident in the pursuit of their own agenda. Needless to say, we will be raising the bar to our friends and family to attend these meetings and NO LONGER allow them to get away with the disfunction that has been persistent.
