An Invitation to Mr. Virgel Cain, new Governing Board Member for Cave Creek Unified

We sent this invitation to Mr. Cain today and hope for a response. If you know Mr. Cain directly, please pass this along.

----------------

Dear Mr. Cain,

We heard today about your appointment to the Cave Creek Unified Governing Board to replace Dr. Marvin Christensen.

You will have a formidable task ahead of you to help this district and community heal from these past month's recent events.

We invite you to comment on your appointment and to let our group and readers know how you plan to approach your term on the board and most importantly, how we can help in your efforts in any way.

You can either reply to this email or post in the comments on our blog. Either way we will not alter or change what you write, and we will post it for the community to see without direct commentary.

We assure you many of our readers would appreciate tremendously what you have to say and many of them will reply with excellent suggestions, offers of help, and words of good will.

Thank you.

  1. If you live in Tatum Ranch you know that Virgel Cain is the President of the Tatum Ranch Community Association. If you don't or haven't read the "Tatum Talk" please read his President's message in the July 2008 issue. Particularly "Register to Vote!" We've got a winner here people. Thank you Virgel. 2. Oh good grief NO! That man is impossible to work with and does not like community involvement unless you agree 100% with what he thinks or does.

We tried working with him for the children's programs for Tatum Ranch. He threw us out because he did not like our ideas and then used them himself and took all the credit.

    Heaven help CCUSD.

  4. Isn't it possible that he is extremely supportive of education, but also political?

We will have to see how he interacts with the rest of the boe, but at least he is there for the kids.
