Don’t Miss the Community Forum for the Open Governing Board Seat

You can’t ask a question or get a vote but here is the information for those naïve enough to think that your input actually matters:

Cave Creek Unified School District will be conducting a community forum on Tuesday, January 17th at 6:00 PM in the Governing Board Room (33016 North 60th Street) to allow the community an opportunity to hear candidates applying for the vacant Governing Board position. Candidates will be asked a series of questions by the Collaboration Team. Audience members will be able to provide written comments although will not be able to vote for a candidate. The Collaboration Team will forward three names to the Maricopa County Education Services Agency (MCSEA) who will ultimately select the new member. For additional information or questions, please contact Dr. Debbi Burdick, Superintendent, 480-575-2015.

  1. Allowing voting for a candidate would not only be prejudicial, it would also discourage future candidates from participating. There is a time for voting - at elections!
