In cased you missed it, the CCUSD Board was excoriated by the North Scottsdale Independent journalist Joey Airdo. His recent article details the childish goings on with the board and how the board is more worried about its power struggle, than the children and the performance of the district. One board member even admits the board is "fractured".
Well this is totally unacceptable. The board needs to put aside their personalities and egos and get down to the business of improving the district. Hard to believe that such power struggles could arise for a non paid position. I am assuming some board members must have future ambitions beyond CCUSD.
We also FINALLY get the admission from the Superintendent Ashby that the district, "has the potential of truly being a world-class district but we aren’t". Right on! Maybe she will now stop screaming "Excelling, Excelling, Excelling" and start screaming about how the district needs to increase academic achievement and reward teacher performance.
Great work Mr. Airdo. Read Mr. Airdo's article here...
