Did Hugo DiGuilio hire a "PR Person"? That doesn't look like his e-mail address unless his last name is Flynn.

ReplyDeleteVirgil Cain - don't know too much about him other than he's a Democrat and he appears to do quite a bit publicly for education.
Mark Warren - does appear to have the best interest of the kids but does he look at this as a stepping stone to the legislature?
Javier Ledesma - Appears like a nice guy but appears to sway with whatever constituent he's speaking with. Looks like he's aligned himself with Ms. Clancy. Is it so he'll have favorable press in the SN around election time?
Hugo DiGuilio - was a plaintiff (in addition to Citizens for a Unified School District) in a very recent lawsuit that attempted to remove CV out of CCUSD -- which would have raised CCUSD's taxes significantly and kept CV's very low. Is this someone who sounds like he's for the students or someone who is chasing the cheapest tax dollars?
If this is the best we've got I think I could only vote for two of them.
Wake up folks! Don't complain after November if there are 4 slots available and only 4 people running. You complain on a blog when it's easy to hide behind a keyboard but let's try to get more people on the governing board who care about the student. The deadline for submitting the paperwork and getting the approx. 167 signatures is August 6th. On August 7th the deadline to complain is over.
