Governing Board Seat Vacancy…

Cave Creek Unified School District is accepting letters of interest from community members who wish to apply for a vacant Governing Board position. The term will run through December 2012. Candidates must be registered voters of this state and residents of the District for one (1) year. Interested candidates need to submit a letter of interest to CCUSD® Governing Board President, P. O. Box 426, Cave Creek, Arizona 85327, as well as an applicant packet by November 30, 2011. For additional information or questions, please contact Dr. Debbi Burdick, Superintendent, 480-575-2015.

In case you didn’t hear, the three people making the decision on who to pass on to the Maricopa County Superintendent of Schools (who makes the ultimate decision) are:

• The CCUSD Governing Board President
• The District Superintendent
• The Cave Creek Teachers Union President

In other words if you are not a district ‘yes man’, do not bother.
